RANA PLAZA

Over 1,100 people lost their lives when the Rana Plaza
factory collapsed on the outskirts of Dhaka, Bangladesh,
on the 24th of April 2013. Many more were injured, and
the survivors faced a very uncertain future. (source)

TAZREEN FASHIONS FACTORY

On the 24th November 2012, Tazreen Fashions in
Dhaka, Bangladesh (a nine-story factory working
for European buyers) set alight. This killed over

100 and injured over 150 people. (source)
